One of Spain's most important red grape varieties and in Spanish "tempranillo" means early which is the reason for the name of the grape because it ripens earlier than most red varieties.

Bigarreau, cherry red with an intense robe and bluish purplish shades, clean striking and brilliant. This is a complex, fleshy and well structured wine.

Characteristics are strawberry, spice and tobacco leaves

Some delicious menu suggestions: garlic and rosemary roast lamb, full flavoured tapas, sheep milk cheese, Iberico ham, rich vegetable casserole

Ideal temperature for drinking between 12-14 degrees
