At Carla Winchester Wines, great attention to detail is given with the choice of superb Spanish wines offered. I have just returned from one of the most magical and romantic parts of Spain, La Mancha with its numerous hectares of vines produced from the very rich and fertile red limestone soil. After many visits to the Bodegas in the area my company has specifically chosen the BODEGAS DEL SAZ which is a renowned family business in the heart of La Mancha, 170 km to the south of Madrid and located in the town of Campo de Criptana. A number of factors support this outstanding choice.

The BODEGAS DEL SAZ has over forty years of experience in the business and is also equipped with the latest technology in order to produce high quality wines and a wide range of varieties. The grapes are harvested from over 200 hectares of wine amongst the most beautiful and tranquil countryside where the famous windmills are scattered on the hillside tilting gently in the breeze. In addition the area has many charming small hotels and tapa bars available to sample the delicious wines from the area. The wine tasting at the Bodega was also impressive and during the forthcoming months, I hope to add more wines to my portfolio. The owner of the Bodega is involved in the wine making process from beginning to end and is as passionate about the production of the wines as I am about selling them.
